LaTonya Mercer Staten
I am LaTonya Mercer Staten and it’s my pleasure to serve Collierville Schools in the position of School Counselor. I have over 29 years of experience in the field of education. I have served as a School Counselor for 24 years and a Principal and Assistant Principal for 5. In addition, I am currently the Director of Elementary Summer Camp for Collierville Schools. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Physical Education from Lambuth College, a Masters from Freed-Hardeman and an Eds. from the University of Memphis. I am married to Estell Staten and I have one daughter Taylor. Taylor is a graduate of Collierville Schools and Mississippi State University. Currently, she is the Social Media Manager at UTK.
